About Mersea Trailers

This Company was initially started by Mike Corduff, Seventeen years ago,  located at  West Mersea. Since those early days it expanded, and became a major supplier to the marine industry, the camping industry and the general trailer market. As the company expanded it moved premises from West Mersea to a modern factory in Colchester. In March 2004 the marine side of the business was sold, and at the same time the name of the Company was changed  to Mersea Commercial and Leisure Trailers. As part of a non competition agreement, Mersea Commercial and leisure Trailers were not allowed to manufacture marine trailers. This agreement has now expired, and Mersea Commercial and Leisure Trailers have now recommenced manufacturing marine trailers.

In February 2008 Mersea Commercial and Leisure Trailers Ltd bought Snipe Trailers product range and brand name.  We will be updating and improving the trailer range and continuing with both the Snipe and Mersea brand names.  We will also be stocking a full range of spares for older Snipe Trailers.
